Man charged with drugs recovery in Caledonian Crescent in Edinburgh
On Thursday, 10 November, 2022 officers searched a house in Caledonian Crescent in Edinburgh and recovered a quantity of drugs including diamorphine (heroin) with an estimated street value of £198,000, cocaine with an estimated street value of £31,800 and £67,000 in cash.
A 47-year-old man was traced on Wednesday, 16 November and has now been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Thursday, 17 November).
A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Inspector Gary Reid, Specialist Crime Division said: “We work every day to disrupt those involved in drugs supply and involved in serious and organised crime as they have no place in our communities.
