Appeal for witnesses following two recent fires in Leven
Police in Fife are currently investigating two recent fires in High Street, Leven.
The first one was at the Poundstretchers store and happened around 2.30am on Tuesday 8 November. There were no reports of injuries and enquiries are continuing into the cause of the fire.
The second was at a derelict building and took place on the evening of Friday 25 November, around 10pm. Again, no injuries were reported and Police Scotland is working with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to establish the cause.
Chief Inspector Joanne McEwan said: “We are not treating these incidents as linked at this time but are treating each very seriously with extensive enquiries being conducted.
"I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch quoting incident numbers 0231 of 8 November and 3766 of 25 November."
