Appeal for witnesses following attempted murder and serious assault in Priesthill, Glasgow
Police are appealing for information following the attempted murder of a man in the Priesthill area of Glasgow on Saturday, 12 November, 2022.
Around 10.15pm, police were called to Priesthill Crescent where a 50-year-old man was found seriously injured.
He was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he remains, for treatment to life-threatening injuries.
In addition, a 39-year-old man was also found with serious injuries.
Detective Sergeant Nicol McPherson, Police Scotland, said: “From our enquiries so far, we believe there was a disturbance involving a number of people, which resulted in both men being seriously injured.
“The suspect for the attack is described as wearing a black hooded tracksuit top and bottoms with white trainers.
“It is imperative that we catch the man/men responsible for this attempted murder and serious assault.
“Officers will be in the area today and I would urge people to approach them with any information they believe may assist our investigation or to call police via 101 quoting reference number 3913 of Saturday, 12 November, 2022. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
