Appeal for witnesses following a robbery close to Balmore Road, Glasgow
Officers in Glasgow are appealing for information following a robbery at the corner of Hillend Road and Balmore Road.
The incident took place at 12.20am on Wednesday 2 November when a 43-year-old woman was approached by a man who then demanded money before making off on foot along Balmore Road.
The man is described as white, approximately 5’8” in height and around 30-years-old.
He was wearing a black waterproof jacket with a peaked hood, a light coloured t shirt and dark trousers with light coloured trainers. He also had on a black snood.
Constable Natalie Davner from Govan Police Station said: “This has been a terrifying experience for the victim and thankfully no one was hurt in the incident.
“I’m appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone who has information relating to this incident to make contact with the police.
