Appeal following theft of trials bike, Angus
Police Scotland is appealing for information after a trials bike was stolen from a vehicle in Angus.
The green and black Ossa TR250 bike, worth around £6,000, was taken from a white pick-up which was reported stolen from Wellbank between 4am and 5am on Thursday, 3 November, 2022.
The pick-up was later recovered around 6.15am the same date, on the B9127.
Police Constable Nadine Anderson, of Carnoustie Police Station, said : “We are keen to trace a silver coloured vehicle which was seen on the Kellas Road near to Wellbank at around 4.20am and then again at 4.50am on Thursday, 3 November.
“The vehicle turned left onto the Kellas Road and headed towards Forfar. We are keen to speak with the driver of this vehicle he may hold information that could assist us.
“I would appeal to motorists with dash-cam who were in the area between 4am and 5am to get in touch as they may have captured footage that could assist our enquires.”
