Appeal following theft and wilful fireraising in Renfrewshire
Police in Renfrewshire are appealing for information after a car was stolen and set on fire on Sunday, 6 November, 2022.
Between 4.40pm and 8.40pm on Sunday evening, a navy blue Bentley Continental convertible was stolen from a property on Braehead Road in Paisley.
The Bentley was found having been set on fire at the junction of Neil Street with Meadowside Street in Renfrew around 9pm on Sunday evening.
Detective Constable Gary Bruce, of Paisley CID, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this theft and wilful fireraising.
“I would urge any witnesses to the fire, or anyone who seen this vehicle in the local area on Sunday, 6 November, to contact us as they may have information that will assist our investigation.
“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3610 of 6 November. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
