Appeal following housebreaking and thefts in Clovenfords area
Police in Galashiels are appealing for information following a housebreaking in the Clovenfords area, which is believed to have taken place between Sunday, 20 November, and Tuesday, 22 November, 2022.
The incident happened at a property on Whytbank Row and a quantity of jewellery has been stolen.
Detective Constable Jacqueline Douglas, from Galashiels CID, said: “Enquiries have established that the property had been secure on Sunday, 20 November, and it was found broken into on Tuesday, 22 November.
“Our investigation is ongoing and the total value of the stolen items is yet to be established.
“We would appeal for anyone with information on the break-in, or if you believe you may have seen suspicious activity in the Clovenfords area between these dates, to please come forward.
