Appeal after security van robbed in east end of Glasgow
Police in Glasgow are appealing for information following the robbery of a G4S security van in the east end of the city.
The incident took place within the car park at McDonald’s on Westthorn Drive, around 12.50pm on Monday, 28 November, 2022.
The security officer was not injured as a result. The suspect man made off in a black-coloured vehicle, which was being driven by another man.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace this vehicle and those responsible for the robbery.
Detective Inspector Phillip Kennedy said: “We’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the robbery, or has any information to come forward.
“We are also keen to speak to any motorists who may have been in the Westthorn Drive area around the time of the incident, and may have dash cam footage, which may assist our enquiries.
