Appeal after man assaulted and robbed in Dundee
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and robbed in Dundee.
The incident happened between 4.25am and 4.45am on Friday, 11 November, 2022.
The man was walking on the footpath between Larch Street and Blackness Road, Dundee, when he was approached by a man, assaulted and had his phone and wallet taken.
The suspect is described as being in his 30s, about 5ft 8in in height with brown hair and some facial hair.
He was wearing a white beanie hat, grey tracksuit bottoms, a white hooded jumper and a black body warmer.
He left in the direction of Edward Street, Dundee.
Detective Constable Kieran Bradley said: “Thankfully the man was not injured as a result of this incident.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around this time and who witnessed the incident or saw anyone matching the description above to contact us.
“Additionally I would ask anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage to contact us.”
