Three men charged following drugs recoveries in Aberdeen
Detectives in the North East can confirm that a five-figure sum of Class A drugs has been seized following a proactive operation in Aberdeen.
On Thursday, 5 May, 2022, officers executed warrants at two properties on Headland Court and St Machar Court.
Quantities of heroin and crack cocaine were recovered, with a combined estimated street value of around £20,200.
Three men, aged 21, 27 and 29, have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences and are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Friday, 6 May, 2022).
Detective Sergeant Erika Griffiths, of North East Division CID, said: “This significant recovery reinforces our determination to target serious and organised crime.
“We are committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
“I would urge anyone who is aware of any information about the supply of drugs to report the matter to police on 101, or anonymously through independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
