Police investigating fire at derelict building in Johnstone
Police in Renfrewshire are appealing for information and witnesses following a wilful fire at a derelict building on Maple Drive, Johnstone.
The incident was reported around 7.30am on Sunday, 1 May and is believed to have taken place on Saturday, 30 April.
An investigation into the fire is ongoing and enquiries have indicated that one of the suspects may have partly set fire to their clothes during the incident.
Detective Constable Jade Clark, from Paisley CID, said: “We’re asking for anyone with information on this fire or the people involved to come forward.
