Death of man on M8 near Paisley

Officers in Paisley are appealing for information following an incident on the M8 on Monday 16 May 2022.

The motorway at J27 westbound was closed this morning as officers dealt with the sudden death of a 56-year-old man.

Police received the call around round 4.20am on Monday, 16 May, 2022.

While the death is not being treated as suspicious, officers are appealing for any information to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

If anyone was on the motorway around the time of the incident, in particular, any motorists with dash cams, please contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0325 of 16 May 2022.
