CCTV appeal following armed robbery at shop in the Blairdardie area of Glasgow
Police in Glasgow are continuing to investigate an armed robbery that happened at a Keystore on Blairdardie Road in Glasgow on Tuesday, 8 March, 2022, at around 4.15pm.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man (pictured) that they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
A female shop worker was working in the store at the time of the incident and a quantity of cash was stolen from the shop.
It is believed the man pictured will be able to assist the investigation and he, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to come forward.
He is described as white, aged 30 to 50-years-old and of medium build. He was wearing a balaclava, circular glasses, a blue jumper with a logo reading ‘Palmer & Co’, dark jeans and bright blue Adidas trainers with white stripes and white soles.
Constable Victoria Steele said: “Nobody was injured during this incident but this was a traumatic ordeal for the member of staff working at the shop when this happened.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 2504 of 8 March 2022, or report this anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
