Body found in search for missing Peter Doherty

Police Scotland can confirm the body of a man was found in the Greenhill Road area of Paisley, around 12.40pm today (Tuesday, 10 May, 2022).

Formal identification has yet to take place, however the family of Peter Doherty, who was reported missing from Govan, has been made aware.

The death is being treated as unexplained, but there is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
