Appeal for information following the theft of high value bikes and equipment in the Fort William area
Officers in Fort William are appealing for information following the theft of high value bikes and equipment in the Nevis Range and Torlundy area.
Around £70,000 worth of bikes and equipment was stolen between 7.30pm on Friday, 20 May and 7.45am on Saturday, 21 May, 2022.
Damage was also caused to vehicles involved in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup event.
Detective Sergeant Louise Thewlis said: "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area of the Nevis Range and Torlundy at the time who may have witnessed anything or has any information about the whereabouts of the bikes and equipment to get in touch.
