Appeal for information following attempted murder in Moodiesburn
Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information following an attempted murder in Moodiesburn.
Around 9.45pm on Sunday, 15 May, 2022, a 28-year-old man was assaulted in the Westdale Drive area.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.
Extensive enquiries have so far revealed a black Nissan Qashqai car may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
Detective Constable Shemain Murphy, of Coatbridge CID, said: "A man has been left with serious injuries and it is vital we trace whoever is responsible.
"Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident, or noticed anything at all suspicious, to come forward.
"In particular, we would like to speak to anyone who saw a black Nissan Qashqai car in the area around the time.
"I would also urge any motorists with dash-cams to please check their footage in case they have captured anything of significance, or anyone with CCTV that has not been spoken to by police yet.
