Appeal following assault and theft in Inverness
Police in Inverness are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted and had his wallet stolen.
The incident happened around 11.30pm on Tuesday, 10 May, on Gilbert Street. A 54-year-old man was walking when he was approached by two men, assaulted and had his wallet stolen.
The suspects are described as being around 5ft 9in in height and were wearing all black clothing and dark trainers.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Macleod said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the Gilbert Street area around the time or anyone who witnessed anything which may assist us to get in touch.”
