Appeal after car set on fire twice in Glasgow
Police in Glasgow are appealing for information and witnesses after a car was set on fire twice on Woodhill Road, on Saturday, 7 May.
The first incident happened around 5.15pm and the second around 10.55pm.
The fires are believed to be targeted and officers believe both were carried out by a person dressed in dark clothing, with their face covered.
Enquiries have also established that a small light-coloured car was driving on Woodhill Road at the time of the second fire and had to stop and reverse to avoid driving past the flames taking hold.
Detective Inspector Craig McPhail said: “We are appealing for the driver of this small car to come forward and speak with officers as soon as possible. Even if they don’t believe the information they have is significant, it could prove useful to our enquiries.
“In addition to this individual, anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident 4495 of 7 May. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
