Witness appeal following fatal crash in Houston

Road policing officers are appealing for information following a fatal crash on Houston Road, Houston.

Emergency services attended following a report of a car on fire around 11.50pm on Saturday, 26 March, 2022.

A man died at the scene.

The road remains closed while investigations are carried out.

Sergeant Adnan Alam, of the Glasgow Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.

“Crash investigators are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

“I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the crash or been on the road around that time to contact us.

“Similarly I would appeal to anyone who has dash-cam footage to contact officers as soon as possible.

“Anyone with information can contact 101 quoting reference 4563 of 26 March, 2022.”
