A 27-year-old man has been convicted of the murder of Jamie Lee in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow in 2017.
Jordan Owens was found guilty today (Friday, 4 March) and jailed for 23 years following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.

Owens has also been found guilty of the attempted murder of another man during the same incident.
Detective Superintendent Raymond Brown said: “Owens’s action on that night in 2017 were reckless in the extreme. He caused the death of a young man and put the lives of others in danger.
“He will now face the consequences of his actions. While this does not change what happened, I hope this verdict will bring some closure to his family and friends.
“This was a long and extremely complex investigation and the fact a positive verdict has been reached is thanks to the support of the local community, coupled with the tireless efforts of our dedicated officers and staff, along with the work carried out by a number of partner agencies.“
