Appeal for witnesses after pedestrian is injured in Broughty Ferry
Officers are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving a car and a pedestrian in Broughty Ferry.
An 87-year-old woman was injured after being struck by a car, believed to be a red Jaguar F Pace, at the junction of Lawrence Street and Brook Street between 9am and 10am on Friday, 18 March, 2022.
The driver of the car stopped to assist the injured pedestrian who was then taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
Police Constable Richard Sturrock said: “The 87-year-old pedestrian has been left immobilised and it is important we find out the circumstances which led to the incident.
“I would appeal for anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage of the area at that time to contact officers. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting reference 1640 of 21 March, 2022.”
