Appeal for information following fires in Perth and Scone

Officers are appealing for information following two separate fires which happened on Tuesday, 1 March, 2022.

Around 11.30pm a vehicle was found alight on Gowans Terrace, Perth.

Around the same time officers received reports of a house fire on Cartmoor Avenue, Scone.

No-one was injured in either fire.

Officers are considering whether these incidents may be linked.

Anyone who was in the area of either Gowans Terrace, Perth or Catmoor Avenue, Scone around 11pm on Tuesday and saw anything suspicious or has dashcam footage is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 3625 of 1st March 2022. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
