Appeal after man attacked in Kilwinning
Officers in North Ayrshire are appealing for information following the serious assault of a man in Kilwinning.
The incident took place in the Byres Road area, around 2.45am on Sunday, 27 March.
The victim, aged 25, was attacked by three men described as being in their mid-20s and wearing dark clothing. He was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Detective Constable Lee Duncan, from Saltcoats CID, said: “We know that the Byres Road area was busy with late night patrons leaving nearby premises.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault, or believes they saw the men involved, to please come forward. We are also keen to speak with any taxi drivers who may have potential dashcam footage from the area that night.”
