Appeal after delivery driver robbed in Renton
Police in West Dunbartonshire are appealing for information following the robbery of a delivery driver in the Renton area.
The incident took place around 4.10pm on Wednesday, 2 March, near to the junction of Leven Street and Alexander Street.
Two men threatened the driver, before making off with packages from the side of his delivery van and running in the direction of John Street. The victim, a 35-year-old man, was left shaken but uninjured by the incident.
Both suspects are described as being around 25-years-old, white, and around 5ft 9. The first was wearing a black face mask, a black hooded jumper and dark trousers. The second was wearing a short, shiny black puffer jacket.
Detective Constable Ben Brewer, from Clydebank CID, said: “Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries into this robbery and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
