Appeal after attempted robbery of girl in Aberdeen
Detectives in Aberdeen are appealing for information after an attempted robbery in the Bridge of Don area.
An 11-year-old girl was approached by two males, both believed to be of school pupil age, while she was walking on a footpath between Ashwood Grange and Jesmond Grange around 7.30pm on Thursday, 24 March.
They then made an unsuccessful attempt to steal from her before they then then ran off in the direction of Ashwood Grange.
One of the males is described as being around 5ft 5in tall and dressed in all black clothing, including a North Facebeanie hat and Nike Airmax 97 trainers. He spoke with a local accent.
The second male is described as being slightly smaller in stature and also wearing all black.
Detective Constable Grant Hardie said: “The girl involved was physically uninjured but was left extremely shaken by this incident.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance in the area or who believes they may be able to identify the two males involved to come forward.
