Road Policing Officers to host Driver Engagement North workshop in Drumnadrochit
Driver Engagement North - an innovative road safety initiative for older drivers and their families - will be running a session in Drumnadrochit over the next few weeks.
The project makes use of an interactive driving simulator to assess and highlight a participant's reactions, hazard awareness and any potential vulnerabilities.
The project received funding from Transport Scotland and is led by Police Scotland, with support from a number of partners including the NHS, Local Authority Community Safety Groups, IAM Roadsmart, Age Concern and RoSPA.
The sessions will be held at the Craigmonie Centre at Glen Urquhart High School on the following dates;
Monday, 27th June at 5pm
Saturday, 23rd July at 10am
Saturday, 30th July at 10am
