Re-appeal for information after three people assaulted in Dundee
Officers investigating the assault of three people in Dundee on Sunday, 12 June, 2022, are re-appealing for information and are particularly keen to speak to the two female victims.
Around 1.20am a man assaulted two women outside a takeaway restaurant in Hawkhill. Another man assisted the women before he was also assaulted and knocked unconscious.
The two women left the scene prior to police arrival and officers are continuing to appeal to them to contact police as soon as possible.
The 32-year-old male victim was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
The male suspect is white, in his 30s, around 6ft 2inches in height, with short dark hair and a muscular build. He was wearing a black, long-sleeved jacket with a white logo on the left side, black trousers with a white logo on the left thigh and wearing light coloured trainers.
Sergeant Chris Grieve, of West Bell Street Police Station, said: “Our investigation into this incident is continuing and we are particularly keen to speak to the two women who were assaulted to get in touch with officers as soon as possible.
“I would also urge anyone with any information or knowledge about this incident or the suspect to contact police. Also anyone with dash cam footage who was in the area around the time of the incident which could assist our investigation is urged to get in touch.”
