Men charged after drugs recovery in Dundee
A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged after the significant recovery of Class A drugs in Dundee.
Officers searched a property in the Charleston area of Dundee on Thursday, 9 June, 2022 where cocaine with an estimated value of £1,000,000 was recovered.
Following a subsequent vehicle stop, Dundee Roads Policing officers recovered a further quantity of cocaine with an estimated value of £200,000 and around £120,000 in cash. A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection.
The men are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday 13th June 2022.
Detective Inspector Julia Ogilvie said: “Drugs cause significant harm to our communities and Police Scotland is committed to taking all necessary steps to preventing the distribution and supply of illicit drugs.
