Man named following fatal road crash in Kilmarnock

Police Scotland can confirm the name of a 45-year-old motorcyclist who died following a road crash involving a van in Kilmarnock.

He was Bobby Landsborough from Ayr. (pictured)

The incident happened around 2.10pm on Tuesday, 7 June, 2022, at the Moorfield Industrial Estate in the town.

Mr Landsborough was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries and died on Saturday, 11 June, 2022.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information that could assist road policing officers, or who has dash-cam that could help, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1863 of Tuesday, 7 June, 2022.
