Drugs Recovery – Carron Place, East Kilbride

Around 2.25 pm on Tuesday, 31 May, 2022, officers, acting under warrant, searched an industrial unit in Carron Place, East Kilbride and discovered a cannabis cultivation, comprising approximately 810 plants with an estimated street value of £486,000. Enquiries into the find are continuing.

Sergeant Graham Reid, East Kilbride Police Station, said:

“This was a significant recovery of controlled drugs which will not make on to the streets. We are committed to tackling the supply of drugs and would appeal to the public to contact police if they have any information or concerns about drug supply.
