Drugs and money recovered during operation in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire
A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the recovery of drugs and money during a proactive operation in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire.
On Wednesday, 8 June, 2022, a warrant was executed at a property in Hawthorn Terrace, East Kilbride.
Officers, acting on intelligence, searched the property and seized a quantity of herbal cannabis, with an estimated street value of £1500, along with a £10,000 sum of counterfeit currency.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is expected to appear to court at a later date.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

"This recovery highlights our continued commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply within our communities.
