CCTV appeal following serious assault on Great Western Road, Glasgow

Police Scotland has released an image of two males they believe may hold information that might assist in relation to a serious assault that occurred outside the Co-op store, 476 Great Western Road, Glasgow around 4pm on Wednesday, 2 February 2022.

The first male is described as being 35 to 50-years-old, of slim build and was wearing a green and white striped beanie hat, beige snood, navy blue jacket, black jeans and grey trainers. He was riding a silver bicycle and had a black backpack on.

The second man is described as 35 to 50-years-old, of heavy build and was wearing a black Adidas baseball cap, black jacket with white zips, black jogging bottoms and grey trainers. He was riding a green bicycle.

Detective Constable Sean Kennedy of Drumchapel Police office said: “I would urge the males, or anyone who has information relating to these males, depicted in this image to make contact with the Police.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers at Drumchapel Police Office, Glasgow via 101 quoting reference number 2617 of Wednesday, 2 February 2022. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
