Appeal for information following serious crash on A90 near Invergowrie

Officers in Tayside are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the A90 Dundee to Perth Road near to Bullionfield Garage, Invergowrie.

The incident occurred just after 1am on Monday, 13 June, 2022, and involved a black BMW and a silver Skoda.

A 28-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries.

The road was closed for around ten hours whilst a full collision investigation was carried out and re-opened shortly before 11am.

Sergeant Brian McEwen, of Tayside Road Policing Unit, said: “This was a serious crash that occurred in the early hours of the morning when the roads were relatively quiet, however, I am appealing for anyone who may have seen either car prior to the crash or the crash itself to get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone with dashcam footage that could assist our investigation to get in touch with officers.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0284 of 13 June.”
