Appeal for information after motorbike crash on A82, Glencoe
Road policing officers in Fort William are appealing for information after a serious crash in Glencoe.
It happened on the A82 around 2.30pm on Wednesday, 8 June, 2022. A group of six motorcycles were travelling northbound when one, a red and black Lifan LF 125-14F, collided with the crash barrier on the opposite carriageway.
The 40-year-old male driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he remains in a stable condition with serious injuries. No one else was hurt and no other vehicles were involved.
Constable Ben Cruickshank said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and are urging anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage of the motorcycles to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1938 of 8 June, 2022.”
