Appeal following serious crash on A939, near Ferness
Road Policing Officers are appealing for information after a serious crash on the A939 near Ferness yesterday (Thursday, 23 June, 2022).
The collision involved two motorbikes and a car, and occurred around 3.30pm on the road by Loch Belivat.
Emergency services attended, including the air ambulance, and both the male motorcyclists, aged 28 and 26, were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.
Their injuries have been described as serious, but stable by medical staff.
The male driver of the car and female passenger were shaken, but not injured.
Sergeant Alasdair MacKay, of Highland and Islands Road Policing Unit, said: "Enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with information to please contact us.
"If you were in the area at the time and witnessed the crash, or have any information or relevant dash-cam footage which may be able to assist our investigation, then please get in touch.”
