Appeal following break-in and theft of van in Dundee
Officers are appealing for information after a garage was broken into and a van stolen in Dundee.
The theft took place on Ure Street, around 2.30am on Tuesday, 29 June, 2022.
Suspects broke into the premises and stole the key to a silver Volkswagen Crafter, reg GF70 XRV, before driving away in the stolen van.
The van was then involved in several other incidents overnight in the Dundee, Invergowrie and Angus areas.
Police Constable Richard Scott, of Dundee Hilltown, said: “We’re appealing to anyone with information on this incident, or possible CCTV footage, to please come forward.
“Anyone who may have seen this vehicle since the early hours of Wednesday morning is urged to contact officers.
“If you believe you can assist our investigation, please call police on 101, quoting incident 0289 of 29 June. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
