Appeal after two men were seriously assaulted on a canal path in Clydebank
Officers are appealing for information after two men were assaulted on the canal path near Beardmore Place, Clydebank.
The incident happened around four minutes after midnight on Monday, 6 June, when two men sustained serious injuries after they were approached by a group of men.
One man, aged 25, was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where his condition is described as stable. The other man, aged 27, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary hospital and is in a stable condition.
Detective Sergeant Kirsteen McDaid, of Clydebank CID, said: “Two men were seriously injured and we are asking anyone who may have seen what happened or has information about those responsible to get in touch.
“In addition, anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have dash-cam that could help with our enquiries is asked to let us know.
