Witness appeal following indecent exposure in Irvine
Officers in Ayrshire are appealing for information following an indecent exposure incident near Irvine beach.
Around 5pm on Saturday, 23 July, 2022, police received a report of a man exposing himself near Marine Drive.
Officers attended but there was no trace of the man. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
The man is described as mid to late 50s, of skinny build, with short grey spikey hair, grey facial hair and eyebrow piercings. He was wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and was carrying a dark coloured back pack.
Detective Sergeant Keith Hyndes said: “This was an upsetting incident for those involved and it’s important we trace the person responsible.
“I would like to reassure the public that it appears to be an isolated incident however anyone who has information or witnessed what happened is urged to contact police.”
