Pedestrian who died in crash on A814 named
A pedestrian who died following a crash on the A814 Cardross Road, on Sunday, 10 July, 2022, has now been named.
He was Alan Baker, aged 42, from the Dumbarton area.
The incident happened around 11.20pm on Sunday, 10 July, 2022. Emergency services attended and Alan was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Monday, 11 July, 2022.
Sergeant Lloyd Caven, of the Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with Alan’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who saw what happened to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam footage which could assist our investigation to get in touch.”
