Appeal following attempted murder in Springfield Road, Glasgow
Detectives are appealing for information following an attempted murder in Glasgow.
Just after midnight on Thursday, 21 July, 2022, officers were called to Springfield Road at the junction with Gallowgate, after a 31-year-old man was stabbed with an unknown object.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
The suspects are believed to be two men, described as wearing dark clothing, who were last seen heading towards London Road.
Officers are currently checking relevant CCTV for any information which could assist and enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Constable Jordan Willows, of Shettleston CID said: “A man has been seriously injured as a result of this incident and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time to get in touch with us.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw the incident or anyone in the area around the time and saw anything to contact us. Additionally I would appeal to anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV to review and get in touch if they believe it may assist.”
