Police investigate serious road crash on the A921 near Kirkcaldy
Officers are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the 921, near Kirkcaldy on Friday, 31 December, 2021.
Around 5.45am, a black Vauxhall Corsa was travelling north east on the A921, Nether Street roundabout junction when it left the road and crashed into trees before coming to a stop.
Emergency services attended and a 45-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy where they both remain for treatment.
The road was closed for several hours as collision investigators conducted enquiries at the location.
Constable Mike Rodgers said: “We need to establish the full circumstances of how this collision occurred. I would ask anyone who was there at the time to get in touch with us. Gathering as much information as possible is vital as we seek to establish what has happened. In particular, I would ask anyone with dash cams or recording devices, to please check the footage as it could assist officers in the investigation.”
