Second man charged in connection with the death of Amber Gibson

Police Scotland can confirm that a second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Amber Gibson.

The 43-year-old man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 5 January, 2022.

The body of Amber, 16, was discovered near to Cadzow Glen around 10.10am on Sunday, 28 November, 2021.

A 19-year-old man has already been arrested, charged and appeared in court in connection with the death.
