Man attacked on Finavon Terrace in Dundee
Officers in Dundee are appealing for information after a man was attacked by a group of people on the city’s Finavon Terrace.
The incident happened shortly before 5am on Monday, 27 December.
A group of people arrived on the street in a black 4x4 style vehicle and damaged the windows of a property and vehicle on the street.
The 23-year-old man was then chased north along the street before he was struck by the vehicle before the occupants got out the vehicle and assaulted him.
The man was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle is described as being a black 4x4 with a cream interior and distinctive alloy wheels.
The driver is described as being white with a half facial tribal tattoo.
Inspector Chris Boath said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and I would urge anyone who saw or heard a disturbance around that time to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area.
“From our enquiries so far, this appears to be have been a targeted attack and I would assure people we are thoroughly investigating to identify those responsible.
