Woman charged following Hawick drugs recovery
Police in the Scottish Borders can confirm that a 56-year-old woman has been arrested and charged following the recovery of a five-figure quantity of Class A drugs, which took place in Hawick on Friday, 4 February.
Around 1.15pm, officers visited a property on Trinity Street, as part of routine enquiries into a separate matter. At that time, they discovered a quantity of Class A drugs, with an estimated street value of over £16,000.
The 56-year-old woman is expected to appear in court on Monday, 7 February.
