Officers investigate hate crime in Dundee
An investigation is under way following a hate crime in Dundee.
Around 10.40am on Tuesday, 8 February, 2022, a 58-year-old woman was within her car in Car Park 1, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. She was approached by a man who knocked on her window and shouted at her through the car window. He was joined by another man and woman who shouted racial comments at her.
The lady in the car was left badly shaken. The three suspects then walked off.
The first suspect is Asian, around 5ft 5 inches in height. He was wearing a grey coloured top and trousers and came out of a red car. The second man is Asian, around 5ft. 8 inches in height and came out of a black car. The female is Asian, around 5ft. 8 inches in height and was pregnant.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV image for any additional information on the incident. Our enquiries have established there were lots of people around at the time of the incident, many pedestrians and vehicles.
Sergeant Nicola Robb said: "This incident has left the victim extremely upset. I am appealing to those people and motorists who were in that area at the time to get in touch with us. Any small piece of information could prove significant."
