Appeal following serious assault on Royston Road, Glasgow
Detectives in Glasgow are appealing for information and witnesses following the serious assault of a 35-year-old man on Royston Road, which took place this week.
The incident happened around 3.50pm on Monday, 31 January, across from Royston Primary School. The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he remains with serious injuries.
Enquiries have established that a number of men, described as being local and in their 30s-40s, were in the area around the time of the incident and officers are keen to speak with them.
Detective Constable Holly Canning said: “This incident took place in a busy part of the city, in broad daylight, so we believe there will be a number of pedestrians and motorists who could have seen the attack.
