Appeal following crash on Beancross Road, Grangemouth

Road Policing officers in Grangemouth are appealing for witnesses following a crash between a car and a lorry on Beancross Road, Grangemouth, around 4.35pm on Thursday, 3 February, 2022.

The 74-year-old male driver of the car is in a serious but stable condition in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The lorry driver was uninjured.

The road was closed for several hours while the vehicles were recovered and officers investigated the circumstances of the crash. Enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 2520 of 3 February 2022.
