Man charged in connection with the death of a man in Glasgow

A 55-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Glasgow.

At around 3am on Tuesday, 20 December, 2022, we were made aware of a death on Aberfoyle Street in the city.

A 44-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 55-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 21 December, 2022.

Detective Inspector Chris Thomson, of Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team said: "Our thoughts are with the man's family and friends at this difficult time and they are being provided with support by specialist officers.
