Appeal to trace 59-year-old Trevor Murphy from Dumfries

Officers at Dumfries are appealing for the assistance of the public in tracing 59-year-old Trevor Murphy, who was last seen in The Old Glen Road area of Dumfries around 1pm on Wednesday, 7 December, 2022.

Trevor is described as 5ft 9 ins in height and of slim build with brown and grey hair, and wears glasses. When he was last seen he was wearing a grey zip top, grey jogging trousers and black trainers. He may also be carrying a holdall.

Trevor is also known to frequently visit the Northumberland and Cumbria areas and officers are liaising with police in those areas.

Sergeant Dalgeish-Little of Dumfries Police Station said: “We are extremely concerned for Trevor’s safety and wellbeing. We are carrying out searches and enquiries to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.

“If you have seen Trevor or have any information on his whereabouts I would urge you to contact police through 101 with reference number 0070 of 8 December.”
