Appeal for information following serious crash on the B714, Dalry, North Ayrshire
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a one vehicle crash on the B714, Dalry, North Ayrshire.
The incident happened around 7.25pm on Sunday, 4 December, and involved a black Suzuki Swift around 600 metres south of Craighead Farm.
The driver, a 47-year-old man, sustained serious leg, arm and head injuries and was taken to The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment where his condition is described as critical.
The road was closed while officers carried out crash investigation work and re-opened around 3.30am on Monday, 5 December, 2022.
Sergeant Gordon Stewart said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who saw the vehicle before the crash or saw what happened to get in touch.
“In particular if you have dash-cam that could insist our investigation then please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 2800 of Sunday, 4 December, 2022.”
